| Craig Olson | CEO |
Craig Olson has 25 years of senior-level marketing management and consulting experience with successful startup companies in enterprise software, software-as-a-service (SaaS), Internet infrastructure, networked storage, and computer systems. Over the years, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to position companies for success—establishing leadership and awareness in new and existing markets while managing through periods of rapid growth, including two IPOs.
Prior to joining UNBOUND Technologies, Craig was a principal at MXL Partners, a Silicon Valley-based marketing and sales consultancy that specialized in marketing and sales strategy, processes and automation, as well as sales training. Prior to MXL, he was vice president of marketing at ZANTAZ (acquired by Autonomy), a market-leading provider of content archiving and electronic discovery software and services that grew from $5 million in revenues in 2002 to more than $100 million in 2005. While at ZANTAZ, Craig was instrumental in helping the company manage through two strategic acquisitions, successfully repositioning the combined organization and fueling its growth with high-impact and innovative marketing strategies and programs.
Earlier, Craig was vice president of marketing for several successful venture-backed software and services companies, including diCarta (acquired by Emptoris), Evoke Software, Junglee (acquired by Amazon.com), and BayStone Software (acquired by Remedy Corporation). He started his career as the second marketing person at Silicon Graphics and Auspex Systems and helped manage both companies from pre-revenue to successful IPOs.
Craig holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He also has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, where he concurrently completed the first three years of Harvard Medical School. |
